Another municipality in Butler County is eligible to receive federal funding that’s aimed to help low-to-moderate income individuals.
Butler County Commissioners say that Jackson Township was approved to be included in future Community Development Block Grants.
Also known as CDBG funding, the program provides around $100,000 per year to municipalities—with 70 percent being set aside for urgent needs for low-to-moderate income individuals.
Jackson Township now becomes the sixth entity to receive CDBG funding in Butler County.
