James Asche

James Asche, 77, of Butler passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. He was born in Pittsburgh on January 12, 1946 to the late George and Emma (Hein) Asche. After graduating from North Hills High School James served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps. He was known for being a great husband, father, grandfather, hardworking, also loved animals and gardening. He was a member of Amvets and the Notables. He was loved and will be dearly missed. James was the beloved husband of Marjorie (Herrle) Asche since their marriage on March 4, 1966; father of Jim (Donna) Asche, Tim (Nichole) Asche; brother of George (Barbara) Asche; grandfather of Monica (Joshua) Gongloff, Josiah (Libby), Isaiah, Elijah, Noah, and Dillian Asche; great grandfather of Harper and Eliza. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters. Family and friends will be received at Faith Fellowship Alliance Church, 200 Faith Way Butler, PA 16001 on Monday April 10, 2023 from 11 AM until the time of funeral at 1 PM.
