James “Jim” Ford, 66, of Worthington passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, surrounded by his family after a long hard-fought battle. He was born in Pittsburgh on December 28, 1958, to the late Harold and Virginia (Jones) Ford. Jim was a local businessman who took immense pride in setting a high standard in everything he did. He inspired others with his flawless workmanship and meticulous attention to detail, always striving for perfection. He was known for being funny, smart, hardworking and a devoted family man who loved spending time with his family and was an avid collector of all sports memorabilia. In his free time, Jim enjoyed baseball, listening to music, camping, sports, and bowling. He was a member of the French & Belgium Club of Butler. Jim was the beloved partner of Cindy; father of James (Kristen) Ford, Autumn Ruth and Amanda (Brian) Alley; brother of Mary (Edward) Mence, Edward (Mary Ann), John “Jack” (Carol), and Richard (Valerie) Ford; grandfather of Easton and Delilah Ford and Italia DeBacco; he is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his siblings, Gloria (George) Raiders, Harold “Bud” (Johanna) Ford Jr and Patricia (Jack) Karadus.
