James “Jim” Wise

James “Jim” Wise, 72, of Sharpsville, PA passed away on Friday, October 6th, 2023 after a long battle with an extended illness. He was born in Sharon, PA on March 17th, 1951 to the late James & Almira (Shrawder) Wise. He spent the majority of his career as a truck driver. Jim was an extremely active member of Alcoholics Anonymous since January 18th, 1988, where helping others became his purpose. Through his selfless actions and words, he helped hundreds, and influenced thousands of people to improve and change their lives. He was known to put his life on hold to help someone by sharing his experience, strength, and hope. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and nature. James was loved by many and will be forever missed. He is survived by his children Michelle Razo, Jamie Wise, Summer Anderson & Jordan Jones; his siblings Richard Root, Daisy Withers & Frances “Molly” Wise; his grandchildren Jordan, Justine, Trent, Christian & Jaylee; several great grandchildren and his previous wife Renee Doctor-Wise. Along with his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his previous wife Sandy Radkowski-Domenick and his siblings Dan Root, Tom Root, Mary Patton, Arnim “Al” Root, Bill “Owen” Root, Beverly Powell-Lary, Welwyn Sipe & Karen Wellhausen. Family & friends will be received on Tuesday, October 10th, 2023 from 5-7 PM at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 NEW CASTLE RD, BUTLER, PA 16001, WWW.SPENCERDGEIBEL.COM.
