Born May 29, 1944, in Butler, he was the son of the late John and Ruby (Morrison) Huff.
James was a graduate of Butler High School, and worked for Armco until his retirement. He enjoyed woodworking and being outdoors. James especially liked riding his bicycle, taking his pontoon boat out on Moraine, hanging out at his cottage in Conneaut Lake, and his annual winter trips to Florida. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his two sons; Joe (Lori) Huff and Ken (Michelle) Huff, his three grandchildren; Shawn (Sharon) Huff, Scott Huff and Nicole Huff; two sisters; Joyce Hoffman and Debbie (Jim) Rathbun and his brother-in-law, Kevin (Shelley) Hutchison and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Maureen Huff in 2018.
All services will be held privately at the request of the family.
He will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Burial Estates.
