James Lee “Jimmie” Graham, 53, of Chicora, went to his heavenly home early Friday morning, February 23, 2024 shortly after his arrival at Allegheny General Hospital.
Jimmie was born in Butler on April 21, 1970. He was the son of James L. “Jim” and K. Suzanne “Sue” Mennor Graham of Chicora.
He was a member of Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church in Chicora. Jimmie was a 1991 graduate of Clarence C. Brown Special School.
Jimmie had been employed at PARC Productions for more than 30 years. In his earlier years, he enjoyed participating in track and field Special Olympics events and most recently bowling. Jimmie enjoyed watching all sports, and was well-known by family and friends as an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He loved spending time at Spina Bifida camp and weekend retreats. He loved joking and teasing with family and friends, and looked forward to trips out to Eatn’ Park. He most especially enjoyed the company of his loving family. All who knew Jimmie would remember his smile that would light up the world.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving sister, Kristen S. Fleeger and her husband, Michael, of Chicora. He was affectionately “Uncle Jimmie” to his niece and nephew, Austin L. Fleeger (“Abby”) and Kyleigh S.C. Fleeger of Chicora and her fiance’, Dakota Spirnock of Leechburg; his aunts and uncles, Stephen and Dixie Mennor of Fenelton, Phillip Mennor (Connie) of Butler, Daniel and Joyce Mennor of Fenelton, Joseph and Judy Graham of Petrolia, Richard and Shirley Graham of Chicora, John and Luz Graham of Chicora, Mary Ann Lehner of Petrolia, as well as a number of cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Wilhelmina Mennor, his paternal grandmother, Helen Graham, as well as a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends will be received at the Hile Funeral Home of Chicora, 339 Chicora Fenelton Rd., Chicora, from 2-4 p.m. Sunday. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday from Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church, 410 N. Main St., Chicora, with Jim and Sue’s Godson, and Jimmie’s cousin, The Very Reverend Tyler J. Bandura, VF, pastor of Saint James Roman Catholic Church in New Alexandria, officiating. Interment will be at Hemphill Cemetery.
