James Walter Frazier, age 84, of Butler passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021 at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born at home in Muddy Creek Township of June 11, 1936, he was the son of the late Walter Clarence and Alice Mae Miller Frazier.
He was a member of The Presbyterian Church of Portersville.
James retired after 42 years as a welder at Universal Manufacturing Corp. in Zelienople.
He was a Veteran of the US Army, where he proudly served his country from 1959 to 1962.
James enjoyed hunting, farming, gardening, draft horses, and Allis-Chalmers tractors.
He is survived by his loving wife Jeanne Miller Frazier, who he married April 6, 1973; his children Benjamin (Erin) Frazier of Butler, Michael Frazier of Pittsburgh, Amy Frazier of Butler; his grandchildren Ryan, Lucas, Lily, Alex, and Austyn; his siblings Ray Frazier of Princeton, Jack (Nancy) Frazier of Prospect, Ruby (Jim) Strange of Prospect, and Darlene Seaburn of Sarasota, FL; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Kenneth Frazier, Helen Tipton, Ida Rogan, and Beulah Diehl.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021, from 3pm to 6pm at the Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, PC., 387 Main Street, Prospect.
Funeral service will be on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021, 11am in the Raisley Funeral Home, with Rev. Dana Opp, his church pastor officiating.
Interment in The Presbyterian Church of Portersville Cemetery, Portersville.
