Janet E. (Rodgers) Marzolf, 91, of Butler, passed away, Sunday, March 16, 2025, in the comfort of her home.
She was born January 13, 1934 in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of the late Raphael Michael Rodgers and Thelma Mary (Fox) Rodgers.
Janet was a homemaker, was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church and also the East Butler ladies auxiliary bowling league. She enjoyed bingo, casino trips, cards, gardening, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, had a great love for animals, loved being with her family at the cottage, loved going to flea markets and playing basketball in her younger years. She was best known for macaroni salad and her apple pies.

Surviving are her sons, Scott (Tricia) Marzolf of Cypress, CA, Gary Marzolf of Chicora, and Jason Marzolf of Petrolia.
1 daughter, Stacy Marzolf (Derek Varner) of Butler.
Grandchildren: Alisha, Ian, Jordyn, Cameron, Lauren, and Dylan.
1 great grandchild, Paizley.
Siblings: Dolores Rihn of California, Mary Ann (Robert) Ulanowicz of Glenshaw, John Rodgers of Leeper, Darlene Rodgers of Wexford and Leo (Paula) Eisenreich of Mars.
Many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert J. Marzolf, whom she married February 2, 1952, he passed away March 19, 2008; brothers James and Bruce Rodgers, sister Karen Rulli and 1 grandchild.
Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, from 1-3 pm and 5-7 pm on Thursday. A Blessing Service will be held on Friday, at 10:00 am, at the Funeral Home. The Rev. Matt McClain, will officiate. Interment will be in St. Wendelin’s Parish Cemetery.
