Janet Humes-Lott

Janet Humes-Lott, 76, of Butler passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. She was born in Pittsburgh on May 18, 1948, to the late William Humes and Irene Koller. Janet graduated from Fox Chapel High School and worked in hospitality services in Clearwater and Tampa Florida. She loved all animals especially, her cat Sammy. Janet also loved to read, play on the internet and play lottery scratch off tickets. She enjoyed going out to dinner, spending time with family and her dear friend, Donna. Janet spent many years in Florida and returned to Pennsylvania 5 years ago to be with her family. She was known for being a kind person and would help anyone in need. Sister of James C. Humes; aunt of James Humes, Tammy Cushey, William Humes and Tim Humes; she is also survived by several great nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her stepmother, Nancy Humes and her brother, Paul Humes. All arrangements were held privately through the SPENCER D.
