Janet Petroci-Jackson

Janet Petroci-Jackson, 76, left this earth after a long battle with cancer on July 22. 2002.  She was a fighter till the very end. Janet was born in Pittsburgh, PA on May 19, 1946 to the late Henry and Mary (Dudas) Graper. She was a long-time active member of AA and through her years of sobriety she enjoyed helping people.  Janet had a vibrant personality and her smile would light up any room she entered.  She had a deep relationship with God where she found comfort knowing she was always in the palm of his hand. Anyone who knew Janet, knew she was incredibly kind hearted, loving, and had a great sense of humor. Janet is survived by her husband Roy Jackson; three children Johnny, Robin and Wendy; five grandchildren Jay, Gianna, Nicolas, Jett and Emily; brother Carl Graper; Sister-n-law Diane; and nieces Lynn Graper Bowman and Evelyn Maltempo. In memory of Janet, we ask that donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Per her wishes, service will be private for immediate family. All arrangements through the SPENCER D.
