Jean Elizabeth Rader, age 81, of Butler, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.
Born February 15, 1938 in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Sarah Ambuster McBride.
She was a faithful Christian who was a member of the Muddy Creek Presbyterian Church and enjoyed going to church during her nursing home care.
Jean enjoyed family dinners and her grandchildren, and will be remembered for attending their sporting and scout events. She loved craft projects, cooking, and reading.
She is survived by her children Darla (Bruce) Colletti of Alexandria, VA; George W. (Tina) Rader of Butler, and Donald H. (Kelly) Rader of Unionville; five grandchildren Lindsay Rader, Tyler Rader, Zach (Kendra) Rader, Josh Rader, and Mia Rader; and her sister Ruth Dumbaugh.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George H. Rader, who she married on April 25, 1958 and passed away on August 21, 2012; siblings John McBride, Jim McBride, George McBride, Infant brother, Jane McKinney, and Mary Bratkovich.
Visitation will be on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 10am to 12pm, at the Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main Street, Prospect.
Funeral service and interment at the Muddy Creek Cemetery will be private.
