Jean Lee Robison Costo, 82, died April 28 at Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia in Butler County.
Born in Butler, she was the daughter of Joseph E. Robison and Evelyn M. Heverly Robison.
Jean was an honor student of the Butler Area High School, class of 1956. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in education from Indiana State College, now Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Jean taught fifth grade at the Lyndora Elementary School and was a substitute teacher in the Butler Area School District.
She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees, and the Butler County Historical Society.
Known for her penmanship, other interests included gardening, interior decorating, and historical travel, especially to Colonial Williamsburg, VA.
Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Paul A. Costo, Jr., whom she met at Indiana State College (now IUP) and a number of cousins.
There will be no public viewing.
Funeral service will be private.
Entombment will be at Holy Savior Mausoleum, Richland Township, Allegheny County.
