As construction continues on Bonniebrook Road, some local residents say cars have been going too fast in those work zones.
Jefferson Township officials have heard complaints from residents and road crews over the last couple of weeks that cars are going well over the speed limit.
People said they’ve seen multiple cars passing others despite being in a work area and the road being double-lined.
Crews also say that overweight vehicles continue to use the road.
They urge drivers to respect the work crews in order to keep them and other drivers safe.
