Jeremiah Charles Irwin, born on July 8, 1992, passed away on March 23, 2025.
He was originally from Castle Shannon, PA. He was the beloved son of Cathie (Phil) Wilberg and Edward “Bo” Irwin (Laurie Boggess); brother to Jordan (Lourdes) Irwin and Baley Irwin; loving grandson of Charles and Betty Dick, and Partner of Nicole Dunn. He had many aunts, uncles, and cousins who also loved him.
Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Edward and Margaret Irwin, and niece Natalie.
Jeremiah was a 2010 graduate of Keystone Oaks High School, and was proud to serve his country as a United States Marine for 13 years; discharging last year back to civilian life. He was recently enrolled as a student at Duquesne University to become a history teacher. Jer was a sports fanatic, especially loved hockey which he excelled at growing up. He will be missed by many and gone too soon.
A celebration of life will be held on April 5, 2025, at the Duquesne University Chapel, 600 McAnulty Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15282, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a 10:00 a.m. prayer service and refreshments to follow (please park in the parking garage to get your parking validated). An additional Celebration of Life will be held on April 5, 2025, at the Castle Shannon Fire Hall, 3600 Library Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15234, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
