Butler resident Jim Bowser has been elected to the Pennsylvania State Bowling Association Hall of Fame. Bowser previously served as the BCBA president and association secretary, and served as the PSBA president in 2003-2004. He is being recognized for his efforts to advance the sport of bowling. He also has a past state championship as a bowler, winning a title in the Senior Division a couple of years ago.
Bowser will be inducted during the annual PSBA convention being held July 6th through the 8th in Harrisburg. He will be inducted as one of the final members of the PSBA Hall of Fame, as the men’s association is merging with the women’s and junior associations.
