Johanna “Nonnie” Fuellgraf, 90 of Sewickley, PA formerly of Butler, PA, passed away Friday, July 29, 2021 at her residence at the Masonic Retirement Village, Sewickley, PA.
Born May 3, 1931 in Butler, PA, she was the daughter of the late William “Mose” Clifford Campbell and Johanna Bakkelid Campbell.
Johanna was a graduate of Butler High School and received her Bachelor’s Degree from Grove City College. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Butler, PA. Johanna was a member of the Butler Garden Club, Butler Literary Club, Butler Tree Commission, and the Butler Women’s Club. She always enjoy tennis, traveling and most importantly spending time with her family.
Nonnie was a woman of love. Her love for the Lord, late husband Chuck whom she married September 24, 1955, and her family could be seen in every detail of her life. She used her. ears to listen, her mouth to comfort, and her eyes to see the good in everyone and in every situation. She was a rock. Nonnie and Chuck were married for 65 beautiful years. It was a love story beyond anything you could see in a movie or read in a book. She never left his side and he never left hers. Nonnie was the matriarch of the Fuellgraf family. Known as ‘MorMor’ to her grands, she had spunk and never allowed for a dull moment. Most technology was a foreign language to her but thank goodness for landlines. HSN and QVC would agree, she certainly kept them, and UPS, in business.
Always dressed to impress with hair done, make up on, and jewelry layered…Nonnie was ready for a social gathering or shopping trip at any time. She cherished her time as a member of the Butler Garden Club and her book club. The bond she had with her friends stood the test of time. Her recent 90th birthday party was proof.
She was joyful, with a contagious laugh. Her catch phrase ‘Oh my garsh!’ could put a smile on anyone’s face. Her kindness to others made a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of knowing her. Nonnie was well loved, but most importantly, Nonnie loved well.
Surviving are three sons and a daughter; Charles (Chuck) Fuellgraf, III and wife Terri of Saxonburg, PA; William (Bill) Fuellgraf and wife Melanie of New Castle, PA; Christian (Chris) Fuellgraf and wife Heidi of Columbus, OH; Gretchen Goetz and her husband Ralph of Sewickley, PA; 10 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
