Johanna Zotter

Johanna Zotter, 77, of Butler passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023. She was born in Butler on March 11, 1946 to the late Peter and Anne (Gavula) Yakubik. After graduating from Butler High School in 1964 Johanna worked at Butler Hospital for 19 years, Penn Vascular Lab for 10 years, then at UPMC for 7 years, retiring after being diagnosed with Colorectal Cancer in 2005. She loved to read, do yard work, word search puzzles, and especially her pets. She belonged to St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church of Lyndora. Johanna was the mother of the late Rebecca “Becky” Zotter who was killed in a car accident on July 6, 1984 at the age of 18, she was also the former wife of Anton Zotter. Graveside burial services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, August 17, 2023 in Rose Hill Cemetery trough SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 NEW CASTLE RD.
