John G. Duncan, 77, of Fenelton, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 18, 1947 in Butler, PA, the son of the late George Duncan and Blanche (Gaiser) Duncan.
He had worked the grounds crew at Butler School District. He had been a member of First United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Bingo and bowling and also loved camping with his Buttercup family. He was a US Navy veteran, having served during Viet Nam.
Surviving are his wife, Beverly (Groves) McWilliams; 2 sons, John (Lori) Duncan, Jr. of Butler and Eric Duncan of Knox; 2 sisters, Blanche Ruby of Butler and Alice (Ron) Shuba of Butler; 3 brothers, Dave (Mabel) Duncan of Butler, Ted Duncan of Butler, and Gary (Valerie) Duncan of Butler, step daughter, Mindy (Jay) McWilliams of New Kensington and his step son, Mike (Jess) McWilliams of New Kensington; his grandchildren, Landon, George,Anthony, and Johny, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Sherry Lynne (Lucas) Duncan, 2 sisters, Leona Perry and Ruth Duncan, and a brother, Ray Duncan.
Friends will be received at Young Funeral Home, Ltd., 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, on Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 1-3 & 5 PM until time of service at 7 PM.
Private interment in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
