John P. Spinetti, age 63, of Butler, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021, in Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born May 8, 1958 in Butler, he was the son of the late Plummer E. “Gump” Hartle and Cora Best Spinetti Hartle.
John was the warehouse manager at Fire Fighter Sales and Service.
He was a member of All Saints Parish, Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church.
He belonged to the Knights of Columbus. He also was both a board member and a coach for Butler Area Baseball Association.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Slagle Spinetti; two daughters, Farrah Spinetti, of Butler, and Brandy Andler and her fiancé, Art Barnett, of Butler; five grandchildren, Adam, Laithan, Anthony, Tory, and Kelsey and her husband, Eric; two great-grandchildren, Andrew and Vera; a nephew, Richard Staugh, of Cabot; and John’s former wife, Cindy Carson, of Boyers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Johnny Spinetti, and Johnny’s fiancée, Angie Barnhart; and three sisters, Sandy Musick, Deborah Staugh, and Linda Stewart.
Friends will be received in the Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Avenue, Butler, on Sunday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be private, and private burial will take place in Butler County Memorial Park.
