John R. Horst

John R. Horst, 68, of Butler, passed away, Thursday, July 13, 2023, at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born October 6, 1954 in Butler, a son of the late Walter Horst and Marie (Marshall) Horst.
John was a vice president of Industrial Troubleshooters Process Optimization. He enjoyed racing as he was part of the pit crew for the Korman BMW Team and had a wonderful circle of longtime friends in Butler.
Surviving are his sisters, Martha (Harold) Frederick of Greensburg and Kathryn (James) Wright of North Carolina.
Numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his life companion, Susan Daum.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler.
