John Vincent Laconi, age 63, of Slippery Rock, passed away Wed., Oct. 20, in AHN Grove City Hospital.
Born May 21, 1958 in Butler, he is a son of Regis A. and Jocelyn “Joyce” Berkes Laconi, of Butler.
John was a talented hairstylist here in Butler but most recently in California and Florida.
He was a 1977 graduate of Butler High School, where he excelled in both basketball and football. John loved to play golf and he, of course, was a huge Pittsburgh sports fan.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Chiara Paisley, of Butler; three siblings, Bev Laconi, of Mars, Tina Laconi Zuets, of Butler, and Scott Laconi and his wife, Wendy, of Butler; one grandson, Cohen Paisley, of Butler; three nephews; and his companion, Donna Jenkins, of Slippery Rock.
John was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Janet Berkes, and his paternal grandparents, Vincent and Antonia Laconi.
There was no visitation, and funeral services were private.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Ave., Butler.
