Seven-time NASCAR Cup champion Jimmie Johnson has raced in the Indy 500 before – and now will attempt his own version of the Memorial Day weekend “double”. Johnson will not actually drive the Indy race, but will be a part of the broadcast crew covering the race, then will compete in NASCAR’s Coca-Cola 600 in Charlotte, North Carolina later in the day.
Kyle Larson is attempting the “double” as a driver this month.” He is preparing to drive both the Indy 500 and Coca-Cola 600 on May 26th. He will be the fifth driver attempt both.
