Joseph N. Uram, 92, of Butler passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022 at his home.
Born January 20, 1929 in Butler, he was the son of the late Joseph and Katherine (Bronchak) Uram.
Joseph was a welder at Pullman Standard until his retirement. As a younger man, he enjoyed roller skating, golfing and was on several bowling leagues and had bowled several perfect games over the years. He enjoyed his travels and had an exceptional “green thumb” in the garden.
Joseph was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church. Surviving are 3 daughters: Marcia (Larry) Brown and Linda Souzer both of Butler and Barbara (David) Wright of FL. He was so proud of and loved all his 6 grandchildren (Steven, Anji, Nicholas, Elizabeth, Jeromi and Derek) and his 8 great-grandchildren.
Joseph is also survived by two brothers, Robert (Laura) Uram and Richard (Connie) Uram of Butler and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert F. Uram, one brother (Michael) and two sisters (Katherine and Margaret).
