Joyce E. Marnic

Joyce E. Marnic, 84, died peacefully on December 3, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital.  She was born September 3, 1937, in Butler, the daughter of the late W.H. “Doc” McCune and Mary E. (Broad) McCune. Joyce graduated from Butler High School, Class of 1955.  Following graduation, she was employed for 28 years by Nationwide Insurance Company as an Underwriting Tech Clerk. Joyce enjoyed being a part of three card clubs, reading, solving crossword puzzles, family gatherings, but most of all she loved being surrounded by her eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Joyce is survived by two sons, Stephen (Linda) Marnic of Bridgeport, WV, and Richard (Jennifer) Marnic of Butler, eight grandchildren, Michael, Daniel, Marnica, Virginia, Claire, Stephanie, Richard and Megan and one great-grandchild Jayden. In addition to her parents, Joyce was predeceased by a daughter, Lisa Seubert, sister Althea Hildebrand, brother Richard McCune and companion Bob Dellen. Joyce was a kind-hearted, caring person that will be missed by many. Friends and family will be received on Saturday. December 11, 2021 from 1-3 PM in SPENCER D.
