Judith Lyons

Judith Lyons, 82 of Butler passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 29, 2023. She was born in Pittsburgh on July 2, 1941 to the late Carl and Jane (Gronkowski) Smith. Judy attended and graduated from North Hills High School. After her schooling, while raising a family Judy went on to work for the Pittsburgh Post Gazette as a distributor and then with the Youth Development Center in New Castle, PA. She was a beloved mother and was very patriotic. She was a Born Again Christian and this was of the highest importance. She was loved and will be forever missed. She was the mother of Robert, J.C., and Linda Lyons; sister of Kenneth Smith and Sondra Rackley. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Ronald and Richard.
