The Junior Women of Butler have named their annual woman of the year.
Courtney Shields received the honor at the club’s closing dinner ceremony at Pine Hall in May. Shields has been with the club since 2020 and will soon serve as vice president.
The award is given to a woman who shows outstanding dedication and commitment to the group and the Butler community.
She was a 2013 graduate of Xavier University and member of their swim team. She currently works for Shields Asphalt Paving.
