Justin “J. Boogie” D. Woods

Justin “J. Boogie” D. Woods, 27, of Butler passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. He was born in Pittsburgh on November 22, 1996 to Kirk Wood and Kathleen Brooks. Justin is a 2015 graduate of Butler Senior High School. He was known for being unique, kind, caring, compassionate with a contagious laugh and beautiful smile. Justin loved his family and friends and was a “one of a kind” dude; and admitted to being a momma’s boy through and through. He enjoyed riding skateboards, dirt bikes and motorcycles, swimming and playing cards. Brother of Krystal and Kristeena Brooks, and Brandon Woods. Justin is also survived by his great grandmother, Catherine Travis; grandfather Russell Brooks; uncles Tim and David Brooks, and Michael Halbiele; aunts Amanda Brook, Nancy Plecenik, Tiffany Woods and Tery (Woods) Andrews and many great uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Justin was preceded in death by his grandmothers Susan Plecenik and Elaine Woods, and his grandfather, Michael Plecenik.
