Five juveniles are being charged in connection with poaching activities in Erie and Crawford counties.
According to the Pennsylvania Game Commission, after an investigation by State Game Warden Michael Stutts of Erie County the juveniles will face charges of killing or attempting to kill 14 deer over several months.
Two firearms were seized along with 11 full or partial deer carcasses. Stutts was assisted by the Overt Special Investigations Unit which includes K-9 Officer Storm.
Charges filed include 143 citations with fines of between $49,000 and $93,000 to reimburse state hunters for the cost of replacement wildlife.
