Kathryn Louise McNutt, 101 of Cabot, formerly of Butler and Rimersburg, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021.
She was born August 17, 1919 in South Bethlehem, PA. Daughter of the late Earl A. and Elsie J. (Behan) Bish.
She was a graduate of Union Joint High School of Rimersburg and the Butler Business College of Butler and was a secretary for Heeter Lumber Co. and Social Security Administration.
Kathryn was a member of the Hill United Presbyterian Church of Butler where she also belonged to the Willing Workers and also belonged to the American Association of retired persons. Kathryn and her husband enjoyed camping, having belonged to the Butler County (BUCO) Travel Club. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cooking, canning, sewing and crafting.
Surviving are a son, William E. (Linda) McNutt; three grandchildren, Christopher, Jason and Karen, a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Q. McNutt, whom she married June 28, 1957 and died on November 19, 1993, two sisters, Joy E. Breidling and Nancy Hillis Johnson, and a newphew, Robert G. Hillis.
Friends will be received at Young Funeral Home, Ltd., 127 West Jefferson Street, Butler, on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, from 4PM until time of service at 7 PM with her pastor Leigh Benish officiating.
Private interment in the Sligo Cemetery.
