Kenneth Daye Ford, 86 of West Sunbury, passed away Thursday February 3, 2022.
Born January 25, 1936, in Pittsburgh, PA. He was the son of the late Bert Ford and Rose (Altsman) Kinsella.
Kenneth was a veteran of the US Army. He was employed as a pipe fitter for Pullman until 1982. After which he worked for The VA Hospital as a Plumber, taught at the Butler Vo-Tech, head Custodian at Community Alliance Church, Butler, PA and a Driver for Butler Ambulance Service.
He was a member of Community Alliance Church. Kenneth was a former member and coach of the West Sunbury Little league, an officer at the Pullman Credit Union and Moraine Sportsman Club. He enjoyed helping people with all kinds of projects and plumbing needs. Most important to him was spending time with his Family.
Surviving is his wife of 60 years, Thelma J. (Wilson) Ford; two sons and two daughters: James Ford and his wife Cheryl of Harmony; Kimberly Hall and her husband Kevin of Butler; Robert Ford and his wife Dianamarie of Conway, SC; Kendra Boozel and her husband Harry, Jr. of Hooker, PA; six grandchildren: Cassandra and Matthew Ford, Joshua and Kayla Hall and Megan and Cooper Boozel; one brother: Donald K. Ford and his wife Marlene of Pittsburgh.
He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son: Daniel Kenneth Ford; a brother: Richard Ford.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, February 10, 2022, from 3:00 – 5:00 PM at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc, 124 E. North Street, Butler, PA 16001.
A funeral service will follow visitation at the Funeral Home at 5:00 PM with Pastor Robert Thomas officiating and military honors being offered by the Butler Honor Guard.
Burial will be in West Sunbury Cemetery.
