Kennywood is announcing some changes in security policies following last week’s shooting inside the park.
Officials say they will be increasing police support, enhancing their security around the perimeter of the park, and strengthening their park entrance policies.
The updates come as Kennywood prepares for their Phantom Fall Fest which begins Friday.
Police say at the moment, there are still many details that are not known about last week’s shooting at Kennywood—including how the weapon got into the park.
