South Butler County School District administrators have decided to move older students to remote learning as of tomorrow (Thursday).
In a letter to families on Wednesday, South Butler Superintendent Dr. David Foley said he was informed that two Knoch High School students recently tested positive for COVID-19 which brings the current case count in that building to five.
As a result, the High School building will be closed through the weekend with students learning remotely Thursday and Friday. All Knoch High School activities have been canceled through the weekend as well.
This closure does not affect South Butler students in the other three schools who will continue to attend class in-person as before. High School students are expected to resume in-person instruction Monday.
