The Knoch School Board has approved a new contract with the district’s educational support professional association.
The board voted unanimously to approve the collective bargaining agreement during a meeting Wednesday night.
Superintendent Dr. David Foley said that a lot of hard work and concessions on both sides went into the deal. The new contract carries a four year term and includes competitive pay with two percent yearly salary increases.
Knoch employs around 40 total support staff employees. The union representing the district’s paraprofessional and secretarial staff previously accepted the terms of the agreement.
