The Knoch School District is learning more details about the possible look of a major construction project.
At their meeting Wednesday night, school board members heard from representatives of the district’s design firm about the design of a large addition to the front of the high school.
The just over $35 million project will include improvement of traffic flowing to the facility as well as a multi-purpose cafeteria and commons area. Lighting and sound improvements in the auditorium are expected to be installed next month.
The board also approved a contract with Force Turf Solutions for just over $1.6 million to replace the field at the high school in a project expected to get underway next week.
