High School Sports:
Knoch high school tennis players Laura Greb and Brooke Bauer have reached the championship match of the WPIAL Class 2A Singles Tournament. Greb won her first two matches 10-0 before defeating Nicole Kempton of South Park 6-1, 6-1 in the semifinals. Bauer won her opening matches 10-0 and 10-5 before defeating Christina Walton of Sewickley Academy 6-2, 6-2 in the semifinals.
Boys Golf:
–North Allegheny defeated Butler 198-211. Butler’s Brayden Setnar tied for low medalist with a 37.
–Pine-Richland edged Seneca Valley by one stroke – 194 to 195.

North Catholic golfer Maddie Smithco won the WPIAL Class 2A Section-2 qualifier Wednesday. Smithco shot a 78 at the Del Mar Golf Club.
Girls Soccer:
–Burrell defeated Freeport 3-2. It was the Yellow Jackets first loss of the season. Their record fell to 6-1. Sidney Shemanski and Akina Boynton scored the Freeport goals.

–The Butler Golden Tornado Hockey’s Junior Varsity team will meet Mars in their first game of the season tonight at the Baierl Ice Complex in Cranberry Township. The puck drops at 9:10pm.
–The Butler Middle School Hockey team will meet Armstrong Friday night at the Frozen Pond in Valencia in their second game of the year. Butler is 1-0. Puck drops at 9:50pm.
