Frederick Koch was a part of the family who made their name in the oil industry and became known for their financial support to the Republican Party.
However, Frederick Koch opted to stay out of the limelight, and instead became involved in the arts.
Koch’s commitment to preserving historic locations led him to purchased Elm Court, better known as the Phillips Mansion, in 1988.
Koch was 86.
