Local attorney Joe Kubit has claimed the Republican and Democratic nominations for the Butler County Court of Common Pleas.
The wins will send Kubit onto to the fall ballot as the candidate in both respective parties.
He defeated current District Attorney Rich Goldinger in both primaries.
Another local attorney, Jennifer Gilliland-Vanasdale, has filed as an independent and will also be on the ballot this fall.
