Two motorists from California were arrested following a traffic stop that occurred last week in neighboring Mercer County.
According to State Police, two Los Angeles residents were traveling on Interstate 80 in Wolf Creek Township around 11am on Wednesday (May 26th) when they were pulled over for several traffic violations.
Authorities say that during the stop, 29 kilograms (approximately 64 pounds) of cocaine and fentanyl were found in hidden compartments within the vehicle.
Both motorists were later taken to the Mercer County Jail. It is unclear what charges will be filed.
