The rollout of two pandemic-related unemployment compensation programs has not gone smoothly.
According to Acting Department of Labor and Industry Secretary Jennifer Berrier there have been a few problems with the Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation.
“Shortly the PEUC program re-opened on Sunday, we heard from claimants that only the current week was showing as an option to file,” Berrier said. “We immediately began working with our team and successfully resolved this issue. PEUC claimants should now be able to file for all four claim weeks, which are January 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd.
Berrier says there are also some issues with a small group of people trying to access the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance program.
She added that if anyone has questions or problems accessing the program, they can email [email protected].
