The City of Butler Parks, Recreation Grounds, and Facilities Authority will pay to add some extra entertainment to the final game of the Butler Blue Sox season.
During Monday night’s meeting, the authority board approved a motion to engage Sirkus Dayz at a cost of just over $1,000 to perform July 14th at Michelle Krill Field at Historic Pullman Park.
Three members of this group will attend before, during, and after the game in costume and entertain attendees with fire breathing, on stilts, with juggling and hula-hoops. This game will also include fireworks.
The authority is also looking to sell two pop machines at $400-$500 each along with three kegerators at $250-$300 each.
