There’s still time for families to take advantage of the last Slippery Rock University summer camp for kids.
Kids ages 4 through 11 can attend the Farm to Fork Let’s Get Cooking themed summer day camp at the Macoskey Center for Sustainability Education and Research.
The final three-day camp for ages 4 and 5 will begin Monday from 8:30 a.m. to noon with ages 6 to 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Participants will be able to experience and taste the center’s gardens while learning to harvest, prep, and cook a delicious meal.
Camp costs are on a sliding scale based on family income. Participants can bring their own lunch or have it provided for an additional fee. Registration and more information is available on the SRU website.
