The Butler Public Library is continuing a series this week focusing on themes of displacement and Diaspora.
The next program in the “Stories of Exile” series is a reading from a poetic memoir called “I am a Jew” and will take place Wednesday at 6 p.m. at B’nai Abraham Synagogue in Butler.
The memoir is a recollection of stories from the mother of Susan Terman who survived the Holocaust. After the reading, a community forum will be held when the public can share stories of displacement.
This program is free and open to the public with more information found on the library’s website.
