Laura Lee Morrow, of Butler died unexpectedly on Friday, September 10, 2021, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
She was born on May 28, 1958, in Pittsburgh, PA and is the daughter of Charles H. Ross and Alice A. (Stover) Ross of Butler.
She was a homemaker who loved her work and family. Her love for animals led her to work as a volunteer for the Rainbow Animal Refuge League and assist with the rescue and homing of stray and abandoned cats throughout the area. She also loved to do crafts and would often crochet for friends and family. Most of all, she loved her Lord and God and was fond of quoting an old Gospel, “I’m going to heaven, can’t wait. I’m going to see Jesus, can’t wait!” Her waiting is now at an end. She will be sadly missed, but happily remembered by those she has left behind.
She is survived by her husband, Albert H. Morrow, Jr., whom she married on November 20, 1977. Six children, Mrs. Brad (Jillian Rae) Burford of Butler; Mrs. James (April Joy) Dickerman of Butler; Mr. Albert H. Morrow, III and his wife Meagan of Butler; Mr. Russell D. Morrow, and his wife Kaylee of Heartland, MO; Mr. Zachariah Thomas Morrow of SCI-Somerset, PA; and Ms. Rebecca Lynn Morrow of Pittsburgh. Her parents, Charles and Alice Ross; four sisters, Mrs. Donald (Deborah) Horstman of Butler, Ms. Lisa A. Ross of Tyler, TX; Mrs. William (Amy) Pollock of Pittsburgh; and Mrs. Andrew (Sally) Wisler of New Brighton, PA. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a nephew.
No services will be held. A memorial and celebration of her life will be held sometime in the spring of 2022.
