Laurine A. Heberling, 83, of Renfrew, Pennsylvania, passed away on November 17, 2017 at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
She was born April 2, 1934 in Monrovia, California to the late Harry Neil Magnusson and Myrtle Lee (Martin) Magnusson Bowser.
Laurine worked for General Telephone Company and Hoffman TV and Radio in California. She also worked at Drs. Mascia and Bauer and the Christian Books Stores in Butler. Laurine attended the First United Methodist Church of Butler. She was a member of the Christian Women’s Club and enjoyed gardening, painting, decorating, reading, watching the Pittsburgh Pirates, Bible Study, and going to Clear Creek and Cooks Forest.
She is survived by her husband John R. Heberling whom she married on September 22, 1993; one son, Joel A. Mann and his wife Patty of Chicora, PA; two daughters, Jane E. Aiken and her husband Brian of Valencia, PA, and Gretchen M. Bauer and her husband Jeff of Bluffton, SC; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Archie W. Mann II, and also by two brothers, Don Magnusson and Earl L. Magnusson; two nieces, Diane Magnusson and Jody Magnusson
Friends will be received Tuesday, November 21, 2017, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thompson – Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street Butler, PA.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at 11:00 am at the First United Methodist Church, 200 East North Street Butler, PA, with Pastor Tim Goodman, of First United Methodist, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Bakerstown Cemetery.
