A Lawrence County woman has been scammed out of thousands of dollars and police have no leads.
In early October a 74-year-old Volant woman reported withdrawing money and sending it to unknown person. The amount totaled over $54,000.
The woman sent numerous amounts over the course of a month and half.
According to a police report the investigation does not have any investigative leads at this time.
