A group of local high school students will take on the challenge of instructing younger peers as part of a program later this week.
Student ambassadors with the Seneca Valley Senior High School Learn, Explore, Act, and Develop, or LEAD Program are scheduled to visit Evans City Elementary on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Students in kindergarten through sixth grade will have the chance to learn from lessons created by those older students dealing with themes such as “words matter” and “better together”.
Seneca Valley Senior High School students also plan to model tech-free games and good sportsmanship with the younger students during this visit.
