The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources has released their first fall foliage report of the season.
According to the DCNR, park officials in Butler County say that leaves have started to turn in the region, especially in the northern part of the county.
However, most of the Southwestern region of the state is in the category of “starting to change” color.
The DCNR also says that the timely summer rain and moderate temperatures should bring a vibrant season of foliage.
