Today is May the Fourth and the Butler Area Public Library is offering young Star Wars fans the opportunity to celebrate the occasion.
Teens and Tweens in 4th through 12th grades are invited to join in an interactive movie night from 5 to 7 p.m.
This screening of Star Wars: A New Hope will include audience participation like a light saber duel with pool noodles and costumes.
The Library is also hosting a meeting of the No Shelf Control book club at 6 p.m. Thursday in the basement meeting room. Each month is focused on a different genre with May designated for fiction or non-fiction books about the environment. Adults 18 and older are invited to join in the discussion.
