Even though the annual fall festival has been suspended this year due to concerns about COVID-19, local residents are invited to enjoy some similar activities at a fun, family even this weekend.
Through generous support from the Butler Fall Festival Board of Directors, the Butler Area Public Library is hosting a Spirit of Fall Festival on Saturday.
This event will begin with a Community Scarecrow Contest from 8 to 9:30 a.m. followed by judging and prizes. All activities will include social distancing.
The Spirit of Fall Festival will continue from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a Fall-themed story walk, grab and go craft kits and activity bags for adults, tweens, and kids, as well as refreshments.
