The Butler Area Public Library continues to present activities and programs for all ages including a presentation from a popular local historian next week.
First, a new program for kids in 4th through 12th grades begins today. Club Create runs from 3:45 to 5 p.m. in the Teen Zone every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday during the school year. After filling out a onetime application, participants can join in different activities like gaming, arts, crafts, and STEM projects plus earn rewards.
Tomorrow, adults are invited to join in the No Shelf Control Book Club at 6 p.m. in the Sun Room. This month’s theme is either reading an award winning book from the year you were born or reading a book with a dog, cat, or bird on the cover.
A week from today, Bill May will present a program about Escapes on the Underground Railroad from Butler and Western PA to Canada. This will begin at 6 p.m. on March 8th and registration is required by calling the library due to limited seating available.
